How The BBB Protects Students From Job Scams and Consumer Scams
Show Notes

Luke Frey, associate director of communications for BBB serving Connecticut, talks with Hanna and Cari about how prevalent job scams are, especially now when so many people are working from home.  The most susceptible to an employment scam are people ages 18 to 35.  Luke details what to look for to identify an employment scam and how it also opens up people to identity theft.  He also discusses consumer scams that people should look out for, especially young adults, as they are just starting to build their credit history.  Luke discusses common scams to look out for, such as online purchase scams and a puppy scam.  He also discusses two scholarships that the BBB offers to high school seniors.
