There's a lot of factors that come into play when deciding on a college. Our guest Gwen, who completed undergraduate and graduate school as have her two children, talks frankly about how to decide where a student should attend college. She completed a bachelor's and a master's degree in speech and language pathology, and she discusses how a student's personality plays a large part in what school they should attend, in addition to the school's cost. She says the college doesn't make the student - you can go to Harvard and never get a job or you can go to a small college called Queens College in North Carolina and be a lawyer. Success in finding a good job after completing school comes down to how motivated the student is and how they apply themselves after graduation.
